I actually deleted this from scraps recently and then, on an impulse, I mirrored it and it suddenly looked so much better. Add a little tweak to colour and lighting, and the softening effect I'm kinda addicted to at the mo ;) and I really liked the new pic and decided to re-post it.

There is actually a huge castle behind that tree. :)

This looks like something out of a dreamy vision... I love the way the trunk twits. If someone was seated in the bench it would be as though the tree was watching over them like a good friend.

Weird how the mirroring makes all the difference! I've found that a lot lately, how just a slightly different crop, or a tweak on a whim makes a nice pic something completely different...

I love the warm to cool gradient this seems to have - he path is that bit cooler then the leaves, and I think it really aids the picture - also, the contrast of light and shadows, which I've noticed a lot in your pictures. It's very bright, but that keeps my eye going back to it.
