To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour...
William BlakeThis is one of my favourite quotes and it has inspired the theme of my latest contest...

I'm sure that most people are aware of

and the struggles of his son Sean, who was diagnosed with AML - Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Several wonderful people here on DA showed their support by creating 'Chip In' accounts to help with his medical bills. It now transpires that these same people are in unfortunate circumstances themselves and need similar support. Please read *

The Winners of my Labyrinth Contest -First prize -

by

First prize was chosen by me. The shear scale of it just blew me away!
Second prize -

by

Second prize was chosen by my husband. He said that he found it intriguing and interesting.
Third prize -

by

Third prize was chosen by both of us. We were drawn to this one by its amazing attention to detail and the fact that we both love trees.
A BIG THANK YOU to all who entered! We loved all the entries and would have picked them all if we could!

Me and Photography...
I know very little about photography and use a rather cheap Vivitar with a wonky shutter. Basically, I point and click like a woman possessed and hope for the best. This suits me fine. Then, I like to try to turn the mundane into something magical with a slight tweaking of colour and light. Nothing major but enough to make it look a little otherworldly. Enough to make you believe that it could be another time, another place...another world...

Things I Especially lurve...
